Not that she already knows them all, but she's still trying to get familiar with them, shapes and colours. And she enjoys playing with those ice cream sticks :D

Dental Appointment

Sent Kakak and Adek for their dental appointment earlier this morning. Brought Teha along. Alhamdulillah the long wait didn't make her feel restless as there were many toys to play with at the waiting area.

Kakak's session took about one & half hours while Adek's lasted more than two hours. Ya Allah that's the longest time in their dental appointment history. Naik ngantok!! yawnzzz

It was almost 12pm by the time we left HPB. Decided to let them go home instead of heading to school...considering time for lunch, solat & journey to school, it would be almost time for school dismissal upon their arrival. Waste karen arr..tkpe la nanti Mama write a letter apart from the excuse chit from school dental. Furthermore Mama pity Adek who's gotta go to MKS this evening.

Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah

I know he can do it! He's always been special to me..in his own way :) Everything went well for him today at Masjid Kampung Siglap alhamdulillah. May Allah guide him throughout the program, insyaAllah ameen. Oh and yes, he managed to memorise surah at Tur today, alhamdulillah :))

YTS ~ Young Tahfiz Scholar

Today marks the 1st day of YTS program (Program Cendekiawan Tahfiz Muda). Adek is set to sail on this journey. Mama is as anxious though he's been in Sijil Tahfiz program for a few years now, this time round it's totally different, totally intensive. Darul Qur'an has targeted a period of two and a half years for these 20 selected students to finish memorising the Qur'an.

As of today, Adek will make his way to Darul Qur'an @Masjid Kampung Siglap 3 times in a week, right after school till after Isya'. And probably will be home only after 10.30pm. Ya Allah, how tough can that be!! Balancing school work with YTS program. May Allah make it easy for him, insyaAllah. May he be given the strength; physically, emotionally & spiritually, insyaAllah ameen!! To all reading, please make du'a for him, jazakAllah!!

Shapes Matching Blocks

Whose blocks? No prize for guessing. Not Teha's though :))

Wak Sidek bought this and it's meant for Bapak :)) According to the nurse at the hospital, these blocks and such would somehow help to slow down the rate of dementia in Bapak, insyaAllah. Bapak enjoyed playing this with Atin after his lunch earlier today :))

Just for the record, Pak Long, Mak Long and Wak Misah came to visit Bapak today.
